About
Fabian von Behren started out with a skilled-trade apprenticeship and then, via Germany’s second-chance education route, qualified as a civil engineer (Tiefbau) at FH Bielefeld, Campus Minden. His career has taken him from the NRW state road-construction authority (Landesbetrieb Straßenbau NRW) via the district of Minden-Lübbecke to the City of Porta Westfalica – from engineer for road safety and construction supervision, through head of the road-construction unit, to his current role as Head of Technical Infrastructure & Green Spaces.
