About

Philip Wette studied computer science in Paderborn from 2005 to 2015, focusing on complexity theory and algorithm design, and went on to complete a doctorate in computer networks under Prof. Karl. From 2015 he worked as a research engineer at Robert Bosch GmbH on autonomous driving, in particular developing algorithms for vehicle localization (GNSS, radar, video, sensor fusion) and multimodal routing. Since 2021 he has been Professor of Engineering Informatics at Hochschule Bielefeld on Campus Minden, and a member of the NRW doctoral college (Promotionskolleg NRW) since 2024.
